We had another great stay at Silvertop cottages – this time four nights. The cottage has everything you need and it’s so peaceful and quiet set in amongst the Aussie bush. There’s nothing better than sitting on the verandah cooking a BBQ and eating and drinking on a summer evening and seeing the moon and stars through the gum trees. And this time we watched 3 lyrebirds wander pass scratching away and singing right next to our cottage. And there’s easy access to walks in the bush and the local mountain tops, along the rail trail and a visit to Walhalla. Highly recommended.
